General Info

Park Beach is a surf beach with good gutters in close to shore. Fishing the gutters with beach worms or pipis on a Paternoster Rig with long shank hooks is a good way to pick up bream and whiting. In the early mornings and evenings you can pick up tailor on ganged pilchards on a Running Sinker Rig or a Paternoster Rig. Alternatively try spinning with medium sized metal slices. Mulloway and sharks can also be caught here, mainly after dark. Mulloway and sharks can be caught using Running Sinker Rigs or Paternoster Rigs with snelled hooks and large fillet baits.
