We received a few media releases this week featuring a couple of new Bosch tools that have just hit the market. Considering we’ve got a lot of tradie members we thought we fill you in.
Bosch Blue leads the amperage race, with it’s world first 6.0 Ah 18V Lithium-Ion battery – due to launch in February 2015. Featuring a 50 percent longer run time than traditional 4.0Ah batteries, the new 6.0Ah are the most compact, lightweight and powerful batteries in the 18 volt class – meaning tradesmen can now work smarter, not harder on the job.
Bosch Blue’s Flexible Power System offers complete compatibility between the 6.0Ah battery and its entire range of 18V Bosch Blue Cordless tools, allowing tradesmen to get the most out of their tools and increase their on-site productivity. Weighing in at 620 grams, the 6.0Ah battery will be the smallest and lightest battery on the market. With the longest run-time in the segment, this new addition to the Bosch Blue 18V range crams a lot of power into a small package, maintaining the dimensions of its 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 Ah predecessors.
Designed by the finest German engineering, the 6.0Ah batteries feature Bosch’s innovative CoolPack technology, which features specially designed heat conductive housing and ribbing that draws heat away from the inside of the battery, extending the lifetime of the battery by up to 100 per cent than those without CoolPack technology.
