Shipping, Refunds and Returns Policy

 

  • Shipping: Items purchased via PayPal or Stripe will be shipped within 72 hours of your purchase. 

    Items purchased via Store Credit (typically received from a tournament or eFish win) it will be shipped with the next monthly prize mail-out which is completed by 15th of each month. 

    You can track the progress of your purchase via Member -> My Account page (or User -> My Account on smaller devices), check “Recent Orders”, once status “Processing” becomes “Completed” it means that your order is on it’s way.  The only exception is if we are out of stock, in most cases we will disable ordering of a product if it is out of stock.  If an ordered product is out of stock and a large delay (greater than 7 days) is expected, we will contact you and ask you if your would like to wait for restocking or receive a refund.

  • Shipping Coverage: We only ship within Australia.

  • Warranty: LED light camping/fishing products, Get Fishing T-Shirts and Brag Mats are Guaranteed to operate for 12 months under normal usage conditions.  This guarantee does not cover damage incurred during installation or any kinds of misuse.  We do not provide refunds if you change your mind about the product.

  • Warranty Return or Replacement Procedure:  Start the return process with an email to matt.edwards@getfishing.com.au.  The email should describe the problem, include any photos and information about the issue.

Method for returning various Get Fishing products:

Tinny Lights – a faulty red or green light may be returned using a large cardboard envelope and a $2 stamp.  To separate the fault part look at the “Y” join and simply cut through the clear rubber seal with a blade, right along the line where the plug for your red or green light connects to the socket (you can see through the clear rubber seal).  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase and send you a new rubber seal that can be heated and re-sealed with a lighter or match.

Magstrip Lights – a faulty pair of Magstrip lights can be separated and sent in a large cardboard envelope and a $3 stamp.  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Party Lights – a faulty set of party lights will need to be sent as a complete set.  It can be sent in a 500g Postpak (around $8.50).  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Power Bag – a faulty bag can be sent to us in a 500g Postpak (around $8.50).  Single faulty items contained in the power bag can usually be sent in a large  envelop with a $2 stamp.  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.  Please let us know if you have a faulty battery and we will discuss options over the phone (Call Matt: 0427 388 839), most issues can be resolved with a proper understanding of how the battery protection circuit operates, and we are happy to help you gain this understanding.

Powerbank – A faulty Powerbank or accessory cable can be sent to us in a small A6 padded bag.  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

T-Shirt – A faulty T-Shirt can typically be assessed for warranty claim based on the photos that you you send through.  We will replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Tournament Entry – We are happy to refund unintended renewal of yearly Tournament Entry subscriptions if they are brought to our attention within a month after the payment has gone through.  Refunds will apply so long as you have not entered any fish into the tournament during that month.  After the month has passed, we hold the right to refuse a refund.  Typically monthly subscription  refunds will not be refunded unless there were circumstances out of your control or due to a fault of the Get Fishing system.  We can promptly assist with cancellation of a subscription or point you towards the My Account –> My Subscriptions –> View –> Cancel for do-it-yourself cancellation at any time.

Brag Mats – It can be sent in a 500g Postpak (around $8.50).  We will repair or replace the item at no cost up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Once we receive your faulty product or part, we will promptly assess it and determine if it qualifies for warranty claim and communicate the outcome with you.  Typically, when a part is deemed faulty, we will replace or repair the item or part and send it back to you, at our expense, as soon as possible.  If your product or part is deemed damaged due to poor installation or misuse, we will contact you regarding options for purchasing a replacement part and see how we can help you to get your product back into full operation as cheaply and efficiently as possible.
