Description:

The Balranald Murrumbidgee Fishing Classic is a catch and release fishing competition with a maximum of 200 anglers and 2 per boat. This fishing competition has all the hallmarks of a classic and apparently the fishing is so good it’s like “shooting fish in a barrel”.

How to enter:

Friday night registration from 6pm to 8pm at the Balranald Caravan Park (Sausage sizzle)

Start & finish times:

Fishing Saturday from 7:00am to 6pm and Sunday from 7:00am to 11:30am

Fishing Boundaries:

Fishing approximately 5kms either side of the boat ramp near the Balranald Caravan Park on the Murrumbidgee River

Prizes:

• 1st prize – Boat & Trailer Package valued at $10,000
• 2nd prize – Camping Package valued at $700
• 3rd prize  – 60L Portable Fridge and Bag
